As the holiday season settles in, all of us at Parkinson’s Orange County want to take a moment to pause, reflect, and say one simple but heartfelt word:
Thank you.
This time of year can bring many emotions. For some, it’s a season filled with joy and togetherness. For others, it can be quieter, more reflective, or even challenging, especially for individuals and families navigating Parkinson’s.
At POC, we are continually reminded that what matters most is community.
Throughout this year, we’ve seen how powerful it is when people come together in support groups that feel like family, in educational workshops that bring clarity and confidence, and in shared conversations that remind us none of us are alone on this journey.
Because of our incredible community of members, care partners, volunteers, teachers, board members, and supporters, Parkinson’s Orange County has continued to grow as a place of connection, education, and empowerment. Together, we’ve expanded resources, strengthened outreach across Orange County, and ensured that more families have access to the support they need.
As we look ahead to a new year, we carry with us deep gratitude for everyone who makes this work possible. Whether you participate in a class, attend a workshop, share a resource with a friend, volunteer your time, or support our mission in any way.
This holiday season, we hope you find moments of peace, warmth, and connection, however that looks for you. Please know that Parkinson’s Orange County is here, walking alongside you, today and into the year ahead.
From our POC family to yours, Happy Holidays!
With gratitude,
Parkinson’s Orange County
