Support Services
If you have Parkinson's disease, you will likely need the support of Parkinson's specialists other than your doctor at times. These may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, music and dance therapists, and counselors among others.
This list is provided as a resource to the local Parkinson's community only. We do not endorse any particular specialists.

Free Resources
Caregiver Resource Center
Parkinson's does not just affect the person with the diagnosis. It can affect the whole family. As a caregiver, you may face stresses and situations that are new and overwhelming. The Caregiver Resource Center of Orange County can provide many needed services including case management, care referrals, respite assistance and counseling and educational classes.
You can register with the Caregiver Resource Center at any time. It is best to be familiar with the services they offer before it becomes a crisis situation. LEARN MORE
Council on Aging Southern California ReConnect Program
ReConnect offers confidential, no-cost, short-term, comprehensive services to Orange County residents ages 60 and above who may be experiencing emotional challenges or overall health barriers, particularly those appearing later in life. Orange Coast Medical/Memorialcare

Orange Coast Medical Center offers complimentary Parkinson's exercise classes for patients and their carepartners/family members. This motivating and supportive class focuses on strengthening, stretching and balance exercises specifically designed for Parkinson’s disease symptoms.
Orange County Tremble Clefs
​
Music therapist, Karen Skipper leads this delightful and fun filled group as they "sing and explore the therapeutic values of music." The Tremble Clefs have online and in person classes.
Painting for Parkinson's
Art classes are offered monthly by Hoag in Irvine. No art experience needed. Classes are for people with Parkinson's only.

PEP 4U Wellness Program
PEP4U offers free Parkinson's specific exercise classes, speech classes, educational and social activities throughout the county.

RX Ballroom Dance
​
Rx Ballroom Dance is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the healthy benefits of ballroom dancing to those struggling neurological functioning. Classes are free and are held throughout Orange County, San Diego and Riverside.
