Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease

You're Not Alone

Getting a Parkinson’s diagnosis is never easy. When it happens during your working years or while raising a family, it can feel especially overwhelming.

You may be asking:

  • When do I tell my employer?
  • How do I talk to my kids?
  • Should I keep working?
  • What comes next?

YOPD Connection Group

Getting a Parkinson’s diagnosis is never easy—especially while working, raising a family, or managing a busy life. You may be asking: When do I tell my boss? How do I talk to my kids? What comes next?

Our YOPD Connection group is here to support you through it all. We meet monthly in Irvine, with conversations and guest speakers focused on real-life topics for people navigating Parkinson’s in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond.

  • Monthly in-person meetings in Irvine
  • Real-life discussions and guest speakers
  • Support for work, family, and daily life

If joining a group feels like too much right now, that’s okay. We can also connect you one-on-one with someone who understands what you’re going through.

You don’t have to figure this out alone—we’re here when you’re ready.
